About the group

The Railtechniek van Herwijnen BV Group of companies are the industry experts for the development, production and installation of automated internal material flow technology.

The group was founded in 1983 by Mr. L. van Herwijnen and his sons Menno en Jurgen. After his technical study, Mr L. van Herwijnen started his career in 1950 at the company Teleflex BV Rotterdam, which was specialized in developing the biplanair type of overhead conveyor as an alternative for the forged chain type. Mr. L. van Herwijnen retired in 2000. The current board consists of two members, Mr. J.G.E van Herwijnen acting as general manager and Mr, M.R.A. van Herwijnen acting as technical manager.

The head office of the group is located at the premises of Railtechniek van Herwijnen BV in the city of Tiel in the Netherlands.
